If the weather is good, this Heritage listed site will be visited by the team. A nice ferry ride from Hiroshima to Miyajima island will allow the students to walk along the foreshore to the shrine and visit the Floating Tori gate. All the while making friends with the tame “wild” deer.

Hopefully, we will make good time from the Peace Museum, with good weather, we should be able to travel over to the island for lunch and to explore the shrine.
