Day 8 – Fun and Challenges at Minokamo!

Another busy day at our sister school; some thoughts from our students-

So far on the JOE trip, I have been constantly amazed by both the kindness and generosity of the people here. From my host parents to random people on the street side. My favourite experience has to be the home stay. My host family has taken me shopping, sightseeing and exploring the local culture. I have to thank my parents for entrusting me to go to a new country alone.- Kayden B:

Minokamo has given me an amazing experience for the 2025 JOE team and they have shown us amazing hospitality. They have taken the time to show and give us the true junior and senior high school experience. – Brontë H

Minokamo has been such a memorable experience. I have made so many great memories and the JOE trip has only just begun. I know my host family has shown me great hospitality and kindness and I am sure everyone would say the same. My family took me all the way to Tokyo and we went up Sky Tree. No matter what each member has been up to, I am sure they are making friends and life long memories.
