Living out of backpacks for the next few days until we return to Osaka; had everyone packing and downsizing items!
Traveling from Kyoto to Himeji to explore one of the 13 original castles left standing had students pushing themselves to make it to the top into the lords highest room. So proud of them all but especially those who were reluctant to try!
Choosing what they wanted for lunch saw interesting combinations of food choices but everyone enjoyed a moment to refuel!
Shinkansen first timers….like flying on the ground! Traveling south towards Hiroshima and staying tonight at Kurashiki with its canals and old storefronts which we’ll take a closer look at in the morning.
Everyone’s tucked up in bed after a busy day …
