Day 9 – Big Welcome at School…

Monday 26 September

Busy busy day! Well done by everyone. Your children did you proud as they stood on stage at the Welcome Assembly; then went into full immersion classes.

It was such a heart warming scene to see our students reconnect with the Minokamo students they hosted in Australia earlier this year. Genuine friendships have been made.

Walking through the five stories of the high school building sees our students engaged in various classes. From English, Japanese Lit to special Culture lessons with the principal.

This afternoon Mr Connolly has set up his volleyball girls to take on the girls volley ball team of Minokamo! Good luck Genesis girls….
