JOE 2023 Is ready to go!

Yesterday we had a team get together for some fun and to de stress a little.

Thank you to all the students for working with Mrs Beckwith on your dreams and goals for the trip. Always good to stop and reflect. We had a quick afternoon tea of Australian snack food followed by a bit of fun playing a Japanese style lucky string prize pull. Some students played a strategic game of trying to work out which string was for which gift; but just like in life some things can be tricky and you don’t always get what you want but they all showed wonderful positive attitudes! I suggested that those who won the larger bags of sweets and interesting potato chips take them home and share them. Did you get to try anything parents? 🙂

It also ties in with the word we are using “KIZUNA” the (ties) connections between people. Well played students.

The JOE leaders will be waiting at school tomorrow morning for our pre-departure briefing and bus boarding.
