Visiting Beautiful Kintaikyo in Iwakuni

Since I found this bridge I can’t wait to take students back to visit. It’s a small, not overly touristy town. The bridge is the star of the town. There is a rebuilt castle on the hill overlooking the town; shops the sell over 100 flavours of……ice cream; and a tiny private zoo for the elusive white snake which is native to the area! Makes for an interesting day trip.

  1. What a stunning bridge can’t wait to see more photos getting close now. Breanna & Rochelle

    1. Breanna, the students on the last trip really enjoyed their time there. There ate little street food stalls along the river where we had lunch. We’ll try to visit them again!
