Last Day in Japan
Busy right up to the end!
Leaving our lovely hotel for the busyness of Tokyo with our wonderful Tobu Travel agents, Mr Watanabe and Mr Aoyama, who personally wanted to spend time with us to ensure we had a hassle free and enjoyable day in Tokyo…
Visiting Sky Tree then onto Ueno…a central area in Tokyo famous for it’s many museums, large open park, a small Zoo and of course shops. We had lunch here, then visited the National Museum of Natural Science and History.
The main attraction there was the 360 degree spherical threatre! Though not large, standing on a glass floor, inside a sphere watching a movie as it wraps around the entire inside screen was an amazing experience. A quick look at some of the displays of the fauna and flora of Japan, had the students use up the last of the energy…..
One last look around the Ueno station then on the super express to Narita airport…..
Remember to pick up your child from Brisbane Domestic airport Saturday.
Our flight JQ 933 landing at 10:35. We will be doing customs and immigration in Cairns so it shouldn’t take us long to walk out the gates!
Thankyou so so so much for everything Mrs Shimizu, Miss Roche and Mr Kriel! This trip was unforgettable, and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to go!
Thank you Caitlyn for joining us on this adventure. Be proud of how well you coped, the challenges you took on and just how much you learnt!
Mrs S, Miss R & Mr K…thank you so very much.
