Today after leaving the sister school we headed out to the highlands and undertook a sample food challenge, walked the old streets of Gujo Hachiman, drove to the mountain village of ShirakawaGo. Then through the beautiful mountains to Matsumoto city for the night! 
then drive through the beautiful mountains; misty and dark due to the weather.

Hi Chel – certainly sad to say goodbye to Naoko but I’m sure you have made a friend for life. Looks like some grest fun days ahead for the last part of your adventure – enjoy.
